Directors Principals
FFL's Board of Directors is headed by FFL founder Alec Dingee. Mr. Dingee is also co-founder and chairman of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Venture Mentoring Service, which is recognized by the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship for innovation in assisting early-stage ventures. Mr. Dingee previously was a founding director of Kortec Inc., and several other ventures, and was founding CEO of the Institute for New Enterprise and of the Venture Founders Corp.
The FFL Board of Directors also includes John Reed, retired CEO of the New York Stock Exchange and Citigroup; John E. Abele, co-founder and director of Boston Scientific Corp., and Ralf T. Faber, previously president and CEO of NetOptix, a publicly traded company that was sold to Corning Inc. in May 2000.
FFL's Board of Directors works together with FFL Principals to ensure that high standards and appropriate relationships with supported ventures are established and maintained by entrepreneurs introduced by FFL. FFL's Principals have more than 200 years of combined experience in venture capital and finance, software and electronic hardware development, engineering, instrumentation, health care, biotech and pharmaceutical business development, law, and marketing.
